Piloting the ST2023 Agricultural Production and Environment Survey (Proling)

To obtain complete and accurate data, it is necessary to conduct an up-to-date and comprehensive survey of agricultural production and environment. The implementation of the ST2023 Agricultural Production and Environment Survey (Proling) is a series of activities of the 2023 Agricultural Census (ST2023). The implementation of Proling ST2023 consists of a series of stages of planning, preparation, data collection, data processing, data presentation and analysis. The series of ST2023 Proling activities began with the implementation of trials in 2023.

The ST2023 Proling trial activities were carried out in 4 (four) provinces and districts, namely Bali (Bangli District), Yogyakarta (Kulon Progo District), West Sumatra (Solok District) and South Kalimantan (Banjar District).

On October 24-27, 2023, the ST2023 Proling trial was conducted in Kabupaten Solok. Data collection activities were carried out directly by the central BPS team, provincial BPS, and district BPS. With this ST2023 Proling trial activity, it is hoped that input/evaluation can be obtained regarding reliable questions in the questionnaire, as well as effective and efficient enumeration modes.
