1. INFLATION
In May 2024, Provinsi Sumatera Barat experienced inflation of 0.51% (m-to-m) and year on year inflation of 4.17%. The expenditure group that contributed the largest year on year inflation was food, drink and tobacco at 3.14%.
2. NILAI TUKAR PETANI (NTP)
Nilai Tukar Petani (NTP) of Provinsi Sumatera Barat in May 2024 was recorded at 123.72 or an increase of 1.87% compared to the previous month.
3. GABAH PRODUCER PRICE
In May 2024, the price of harvested gabah kering at the farm level amounted to Rp7,506 / kg or decreased by 1.23% compared to the previous month and the price of harvested gabah kering at the milling level amounted to Rp7,671 / kg or decreased by 1.17% compared to the previous month.
4. TOURISM
In April 2024, the number of foreign tourist visits to Provinsi Sumatera Barat was 7,166 people. Tingkat penghunian kamar (TPK) of star classification hotels reached 41.38% or increased 7.54 points compared to the previous month.
5. TRANSPORTATION
In April 2024, the number of domestic and international passengers departing through BIM was 143.32 thousand people, up 88.41% compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, domestic and international passengers arriving through BIM were 150.10 thousand people, an increase of 74.59% compared to the previous month.
6. EXPORT AND IMPORT
The export value of Provinsi Sumatera Barat in April 2024 reached US$ 167.99 million or decreased by 1.25% compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, the import value reached US$38.92 million or decreased by 6.12% compared to the previous month.
