Happy 79th Indepence Day Republic of Indonesia, Nusantara Baru Indonesia Maju

The theme of this year's Independence Day celebration is "Nusantara Baru Indonesia Maju". Nusantara Baru is a monumental step in the history of this nation. Development is not only about physical infrastructure, but also about new spirit, innovation, and our courage to transform for a better future.

The implementation of the 79th Independence Day Ceremony was carried out solemnly at the BPS Provinsi Sumatera Barat (17/8). Head of BPS Provinsi Sumatera Barat Sugeng Arianto acted as the ceremony instructor.

In his speech, the ceremony instructor said, "BPS data must continue to be present in providing the right direction and guidance on national and regional issues. Build communication with stakeholders and become part of the government's decision supporters. Show that BPS is a strategic institution in overseeing the development and progress of the nation".
