E-Commerce Survey Officer Training 2024

Monday (23/9) BPS of West Sumatra Province conducted training for E-Commerce Survey officers. The activity was attended and opened by the Head of BPS of West Sumatra Province who in this case was represented by the Head of General Affairs Mulia Andestar, with a total of 95 training officers at the Rocky Padang Hotel.

The E-Commerce Survey is a survey conducted to obtain data on the sale of goods and services using the internet. The presence of e-commerce makes it very easy for people to buy a product, while from the business side it expands the market reach. In addition, the E-Commerce Survey was held to support the First National Priority Program (PN), namely the supporting indicators for the pillars of economic growth and competitiveness.

The 2024 E-Commerce Survey was conducted in 365 regencies/cities throughout Indonesia with a Listing Sample allocation of 6,372 Census Blocks and a target respondent of 40,066 online businesses that have online sales activities during 2023. For West Sumatra, the 2024 E-Commerce Survey was conducted in 12 regencies/cities with a listing sample allocation of 191 Census Blocks and a target respondent of 1,301 businesses.
