Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on Regional Data in Figures and Review of Service Standards

In preparation for the publication of West Sumatra Province in Figures 2025, the BPS of West Sumatra Province held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on Regional Data in Figures and a Review of Service Standards. The event, which took place on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at the Mercure Hotel, was attended by various stakeholders, including representatives from government agencies (Dinas/OPD), academics, journalists/NGOs, and expert speakers.

The event was opened by the Head of BPS of West Sumatra Province, Sugeng Arianto, and continued with a panel discussion featuring two key speakers: Drs. Mulyadi, MM, from the West Sumatra Communications and Informatics Agency (Dinas Kominfotik), and Prof. Dr. Werry Darta Taifur, SE, MA, a prominent academician. The discussions aimed to deepen the understanding of the importance of data in development planning and to improve the quality of services provided by BPS.
