Abstract

The publication of the 1996 National Socio-Economic Survey Results (SUSENAS) of Sumatera Barat Province provides a brief overview of the economic situation which broadly includes Consumption/Expenditure Patterns, Income Distribution and Estimates of the Number of Poor Populations. The publication of this publication is a precursor to a more complete publication, namely the tables on Expenditures for Consumption of the Sumatera Barat Population in 1996.
