Abstract

This publication of the 1996 Sumatera Barat Economic Report presents data on monetary developments that occurred in Sumatera Barat throughout 1996. Economic growth, developments in inflation rates, developments in foreign and domestic investment (PMA and PMDN) are among the topics discussed. Apart from that, national data is also presented, so that information can be obtained about the comparability of the economic conditions of Sumatera Barat in Indonesia.
