The data presented in this publication is the data on the price of grain producers at the district level affected by the data collection during the period of January to December 2016. The results of the grain producer price monitoring surveys include the lowest price and the highest price at the transaction point, the average price in the GKP quality group , And quality components at both the farm and milling levels. Considering that rice is a strategic commodity, the price of grain at both the farmers and mills level needs to be regulated by the Government through Presidential Instruction No. 5 of 2015 dated March 17, 2015 on the Policy of Procurement of Rice / Rice and Rice Distribution by the Government effective from March 17 2015. This policy is necessary to secure prices in order to create price stability on the market.
