Abstract

Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) is one of the economic data tools that can be used to evaluate the performance of the economic development of a region (province and regency/city), among them is to see the value of nominal GRDP, economic structure, economic growth, GRDP percapita and so on. According to macroeconomic theory, the GRDP calculation can be done through three approaches, namely: production/supply approach (GRDP by Industry), expenditure/final demand approach (GRDP by expenditure) and the income approach (GRDP according by income). Those approaches will yield the same GRDP figures theoretically. This publication is specifically explain the GRDP by industrial origin. This approach is broken down into several categories, namely: Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries; Mining and Quarrying; Manufacturing; Procurement Electricity and Gas; Water Supply; Construction, Wholesale and Retail; Transportation and Warehousing; The provision of accommodation; Information and Communication; Financial Services and Insurance; Real Estate; Business Activities; Government Administration; Education; Human Health and Social Work Activities and Other Service Activities. GRDP data in this publication and subsequent publications using the base year 2010, and has implemented the concept of the System of National Accounts 2008 as recommended by the United Nations.
