Abstract

This publication on the Development of Sumatera Barat Province 2018-2023 was prepared with the aim of seeing the development of the development of the Sumatera Barat Province region during 2017-2022. The discussion in this publication will be limited to development achievements based on several macroeconomic indicators, social welfare indicators which are also contained in the RPJMD and other indicators. Macroeconomic indicators consist of Population, Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), economic growth, economic structure, Inflation and Import Exports. Social welfare indicators consist of the Human Development Index (HDI) and its constituent components (Life Expectancy and Average Length of Schooling), the Poor, Unemployment Rate and Farmer’s Exchange Rate (NTP). In addition, the development of tourism indicators and the Village Development Index (IPD) will also be discussed.
