Food Consumption Pattern of Sumatera Barat Province 2015-2016

The population food consumption pattern is important information for many parties. In terms of production, consumption data can be used as input data to estimate the demand that must be met to meet the food needs of the population in a region. Furthermore, from the side of food needs, food consumption patterns can be used to assess the level of fulfillment of minimum needs for healthy living. This publication uses data of National Socioeconomic Survey (Susenas) Year 2015 and Susenas March 2016 for Sumatera Barat Province. As in the appendix, data is presented in 2016 at the regency/municipality level because the sample is sufficient for estimation up to the regency/municipality level. The data coverage presented in the quantity of food consumption, including 126 commodities. In addition, the content of calories and protein consumed is also presented according to the commodity.
