Abstract

Since 2011, provincial BPS throughout Indonesia has conducted monitoring of early indicators through the calculation of the Consumer Tendency Index. Early information, such as perceptions of consumption actors on the economic situation, is a very important requirement for all parties. In West Sumatera province the survey is conducted on a quarterly basis at 4 districts of Agam, Kota Padang, Kota Solok and Kota Bukittinggi. This publication describes the method and result of calculation of Tendency Index of Consumers.
