Consumer Tendency Index of Sumatera Barat Province 2017

Early information, such as perceptions of consumption actors against the economic situation, is an important requirement for all parties. This early information is greatly needed by governments, businesses, and consumer societies, as it is able to provide early signals about changes in economic conditions over the coming months. Since 2011, all provincial BPS of Indonesia has conducted monitoring of early indicators through calculation of Indicators of Consumer Tendency. The Consumer Tendency Index is calculated based on the results of the Consumer Tendency Survey. In Sumatera Barat Province the survey was conducted quarterly in four areas, namely Agam Regency, Padang Municipality, Solok Municipality and Bukittinggi Municipality.
