Abstract

Very important for all parties. This early information is needed by the government, the business community, and the consumer community, as it is able to provide early signals about changes in economic conditions in the coming months.Since 2011, BPS provinces throughout Indonesia have been monitoring early indicators through the calculation of the Consumer Tendency Index. The Consumer Tendency Index is calculated based on the results of the Consumer Tendency Survey. In Sumatera Barat Province the survey was conducted quarterly in four regions, namely Agam Regency, Padang Municipality, Solok Municipality and Bukittinggi Municipality.
