Abstract

The publication of Consumer Price Index of Sumatera Barat Province 2019-2023 is an improvement on the previous publication published by BPS-Statistics Sumatera Barat Province periodically. The data presented in this publication are Consumer Price Index (CPI) figures and changes in CPI (inflation/deﬂation) for 2 CPI cities in Sumatera Barat Province, namely Padang Municipality and Bukittinggi municipality, as well as combined figures from the two cities. Data is presented from 2019 to 2023. Data for 2019 uses the base year 2012 and data for 2020–2023 uses the base year 2018. This figure is calculated based on data obtained from the Consumer Price Survey in several traditional markets, modern markets and outlets in the Padang Municipality and Bukittinggi Municipality.
